Lil Wayne Tour Schedule
Lil Wayne has come a long way in his rapping journey. He started rapping professionally at the age of just 9-years old, a time when other kids are still learning how to ride a bike properly. His long-term career has indeed become a lifestyle, which is why his rapping is regarded as some of the best in the business. Lil Wayne fans have grown with him, and his popularity is pretty much sealed as one of the greats. Lil Wayne’s concerts have always sold out, but he has a few dates coming up in 2019 that you can still snag. He’s scheduled to perform on January 25th in Aspen, Colorado during the X Games Aspen event. He’s also playing in the Pot of Gold music festival in Phoenix, Arizona on March 15th.
Lil Wayne Background
Lil Wayne was born as Dwayne Michael Carter in 1982 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He made his first rap when he was just eight years old and was noticed by the owner of Cash Money Records, Bryan Williams. Williams started to mentor Carter and would include him in Cash Money productions at times. When he was 14, he joined his first professional rap group called the Hot Boys. The second album they released together reached number one on Billboard’s Hip Hops charts, and it only seemed to get better from there. Although the group later disbanded, Carter’s solo career didn’t lose its fire at all, and he was sought out by several rappers who wanted to collaborate with him.
