      Soprano is a popular French rapper who is making a name for himself around the world. He started off small, but has slowly gained popularity that’s comparable to some of the big shots overseas. Soprano has an impressive track record for his music; several of his albums and singles have ranked at the top of the charts consecutively. His rapping skills and lyrics in general know how to get the party started, which is why his live performances are so popular.

       

      Fans of Soprano have a lot to look forward to starting in March of 2019. Soprano has planned out an extensive year filled with concert dates. The first is in Amiens, France on March 7th. Following that, you can see Soprano all around France in places like Maxeville, Ligomes, Pau, and Dijon. His final date for the year is on December 22nd in Brest, France.

       

      Soprano Background

       

      Soprano goes by his stage name most of the time, but his actual name is Saïd M'Roumbaba. He was born in January of 1979 in Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhone, France. His parents are both from Comoros, but he grew up in the northern districts of Marseille. Soprano formed a group with a few of his friends that became known as Psy 4 Rhyme. Together, they released their first album called Block Party. With the success of Block Party, they continued to produce music, adding on the voices of new rappers occasionally. Soprano decided to leave the group in 2007 and started releasing his own music, selling more than 200,000 copies of his first album.

      Not only does Soprano excel in music, but he also has made a few cameos in the film industry. Considering his music, Soprano’s greatest hits were “Hero”, “Cosmo”, “Fresh Prince”, “Clown”, “Millionaire”, and his latest “À la vie à l'amour”.

      Kendji Girac is a young singer on the French music scene. Although he recently started his career, he has already created and performed a long list of hit singles and successful albums. Girac combines his powerful, yet soothing voice with his skilled mastery of the guitar to bring joy to his fans’ ears through his music.

       

      Girac’s fans have a lot to look forward to, as he has his schedule packed with dates specific to France. He may add more days in other countries, but for now, he’s sticking to his home country. His first date is on March 1st in Orleans, France. After that, he’s travelling around the country, visiting many cities, including Tours, Caen, Lille, Grenoble, Bruz, Eckbolsheim, Nice, Bertrix, and Valence. His final date is in the City of Love itself, Paris, France, on November 30th.

       

      Kendji Girac Background

       

      Kendji Jason Maillié, known commonly as Kendji Girac, was born in Périgueux, Dordogne, France in 1996. He was first introduced to music through his grandfather, who also taught him how to play his famous guitar and sing. Although he left high school early to take up the family business as an arborist, he started to publish his recordings of singing online. It wasn’t long before he gained a large fan base and was scoring over four million views on a video at a time.

       

      He got even more fame as he began to compete on season three of The Voice: la plus belle voix. At the end of the season, he won with 51% of the public’s vote, a far jump ahead of the other contestants. From there, he started to release his own music and has begun performing live extensively.

      Kendji Girac may have just joined the music scene, but he already has several charted hits in his books. Some of his best songs are “Color Gitano”, “Andalouse”, “Cool”, “Maria, Maria” and his most recent, “Tiago”.
