The WWE, or World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc, is the home of thousands of wrestlers from across the globe. The corporation was founded back in the 1950s and has been the leading name in the wrestling world. Today, there are millions of fans of the sport, and the entertainment network itself has expanded to movies, media, and other forms of show business. Each of their wrestling matches, whether live or broadcasted, rack up millions of views from fans around the world.

Speaking of live matches, fans of wrestling can start marking off their calendars for upcoming events. The next match is on February 10th in Fort Wayne, Indiana. If you don’t catch that one, there are many other cities on the visiting list, including Belfast, Dublin, Helsinki, Paris, and Basel. The final date to catch all the action live is on May 19th in Basel, Switzerland.

      WWE Background

The World Wrestling Entertainment Incorporation began in 1952 and was founded by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt. Back then, it was known as the Capitol Wrestling Corporation, until it was later changed to Titan Sports, Inc. Several years later, the name was changed yet again in 1999 into the current WWE that fans know and love.

As with many professional wrestling corporations, the matches fought in WWE follow a certain plot and are scripted for the most part. Even though the outcomes and moves are predetermined, fans of the sport don’t seem to mind at all. The show may be planned, but the entertainment levels always remain high and constant.

      WWE’s Greatest Champions

Every sport has its heroes, and the WWE is no different. Some of the fiercest and best fighters to win a championship are Brock Lesnar, Rhonda Rousey, Asuka, Shayna Baszler, Naomi, and Shane McMahon. Their fights are the ones that have been sealed in the WWE’s personal hall of fame forever.
