      Stormzy's "Shut Up", which was initially released as a freestyle on YouTube, went viral and peaked number eight on the UK Singles Chart after Stormzy launched a campaign to reach Christmas number one.

      Andre Rieu was born in Maastricht, Netherlands in October of 1949. As his father was a musician, Andre was exposed to the ins and outs of music from a very young age. He started to play the violin at the age of five. Even in his youth, he was very interested in the orchestra section of the musical world.

       

      Rieu had success with orchestra throughout his time in university, and by the time he was out, he was ready to make his own orchestra group. So, he established his own group called the Johann Strauss Orchestra. With his group, he’s gone on to perform and conduct many successful performances.

      Status Quo are a rock band from UK. Status Quo originated in The Spectres, founded by Francis Rossi and Alan Lancaster in 1962, while still in school.

       

      After a number of lineup changes, the band became Status Quo in 1969.

       

      The band have had over 60 chart hits in the UK, more than any other rock band - hits like "Pictures of Matchstick Men" in 1968, "Whatever You Want" in 1979 and "In the Army Now" in 1986 and 2010.

      The Chainsmokers duo is made up of two very talented individuals, Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart. As Pall had been a DJ his whole life, he was introduced to Taggart through his manager. The two hit it off immediately and started working together. They started off by making remixes of indie songs, then moved to collaborating with big artists like Priyanka Chopra, an Indian actress and recording artist.

      They released their first single, “#Selfie,” for free, but it was later picked up by Republic Records and had a bigger platform to grow on. It hit the charts hard and made it onto international Dance/Electronic Songs charts. From there, their fame continued to grow as they got in contact and worked with big artists.
