Slipknot is an American heavy metal band from Des Moines, Iowa. Slipknot was founded in 1995 by percussionist Shawn Crahan, Joey Jordison (drums) & Paul Gray (base guitar).

Nine Inch Nails, also known as NIN (stylized as NIИ), is an American industrial rock band founded in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1988. The band is led by Trent Reznor, a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, who was originally the sole official member. In 2016, Atticus Ross, a longtime collaborator, was officially added to the lineup.

Soprano decided to leave the group in 2007 and started releasing his own music, selling more than 200,000 copies of his first album.
