      John Roger Stephens, known professionally with stage name as "John Legend", is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, pianist, actor and philanthropist.

       

      Prior to the release of Legend's debut album, Get Lifted, (2004) he had collaborated with already established artists and signed to Kanye West's GOOD Music.

       

      In 2007, Legend received the Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Legend won the Academy Award for Best Original Song and Golden Globe Award in 2015 for co-writing the song "Glory" from the film Selma. He has also won ten Grammy Awards. In 2017, Legend received a Tony Award for co-producing Jitney for the Broadway stage. 

       

      In 2018, Legend portrayed Jesus Christin the NBC adaptation of the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar. He received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for his acting role, and won for his role as a producer of the show, making him one of 15 people and the first black man to have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony (EGOT). Legend is also the second youngest to have achieved this.

      Jeffrey Dunham is an American ventriloquist and stand-up comedian who has also appeared on numerous television shows, including Comedy Central Presents, Late Show with David LettermanThe Tonight Show and Sonny With a Chance

       

      Forbes ranked Dunham as the third highest-paid comedian in the United States behind Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock and reported that he was one of the highest-earning comics from June 2008 to June 2009, earning approximately $30 million during that period.

       

      Dunham also does occasional acting roles. He achieved the Guinness Book of World Records record for "Most tickets sold for a stand-up comedy tour" for his Spark of Insanity tour, performing in 386 venues worldwide.

      Dream Theater is an American progressive metal band formed in 1985 and was originally named Majesty by John Petrucci, John Myung and Mike Portnoy, while the three attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.

      They subsequently dropped out of their studies to concentrate further on the band that would ultimately become Dream Theater.

       

      As of 2018, Dream Theater has sold over 12 million records worldwide and has received two Grammy Award nominations.
