Post Malone may be new on the rap/rock scene compared to some other singers, but his songs have quickly found a way to the top of the charts just like some of the greats. Post Malone has had a busy year with his current tour of Beerbongs & Bentleys and has just two more performances in the U.S. (Brooklyn, NY, on December 29th and the 31st) before he jets off to Dublin, Ireland to continue his tour. After that, you can see him across the ocean in locations like London, Berlin, Hamburg, Stockholm, and Amsterdam until May 12th, when the 2019 tour ends.
Post Malone Background
Post Malone was born Austin Richard Post in Syracuse, New York. His family moved to Grapevine, Texas when he was 9-years old. This is when he started getting into music and experimenting with his guitar. As he grew older, he turned more and more to music and when he moved to L.A. when he turned 18, he wrote his first song, “White Iverson.” This song was uploaded to his Soundcloud account and quickly became a hit, so much so that it caught the attention of Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa. Pretty soon, Post was signed on by Republic Records.
One he was signed, Post Malone released his first album, Stoney, which had hit tracks like “I Fall Apart” and “Congratulations.” Stoney was an all-around success, taking a double platinum certification in 2017.
