Duran Duran is an English new wave band formed in Birmingham in 1978.

Duran Duran was one of the most successful acts of the 1980s, but by the end of the decade, membership and music style changes challenged the band before a resurgence in the early 1990s.

Duran Duran was a leading band in the MTV-driven Second British Invasion of the US in the 1980s. The band achieved 14 singles in the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart and 21 in the US Billboard Hot 100, and have sold over 100 million records worldwide.

Dua Lipa has become a name that’s synonymous with teenage success. She’s shown that she can put in hard work and time to create music that resonates with the youth, as well as adults and even older members of her fan base. Her full and unique voice has captivated fans from the beginning of her career.

Dua Lipa’s spent a lot of time creating music in the studio, but fans love to see her on stage, as well. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have any upcoming tour dates for 2019 as of now. Keep checking her projects to stay updated on new releases.

      Dua Lipa Background

Unlike other musical artists, Dua Lipa goes by her actual name. She was born in 1995 in London, England. Dua Lipa has had a passion for music from the very beginning. Although her family had moved to Kosovo shortly after she was born, she moved back to London at the mere age of 15 in hopes of pursuing a career in the music industry.

As a teenager, she uploaded covers of her favorite songs on YouTube. Her most popular covers were of P!nk and Nelly Furtado. Her fans grew from there, and she was slowly brought to the attention of the public. In 2015, she signed with the Warner Music Company and later released the worldwide hit, “Blow Your Mind (Mwah).” With the song being her first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100, it earned her even more fame and recognition, ultimately leading her to become the widely known artist she is today.

      Dua Lipa’s Greatest Hits

Dua Lipa’s songs have earned her many nominations and awards. Some of her greatest tracks to blow off the charts include “New Rules,” “One Kiss,” featuring Calvin Harris, “Be The One,” and “IDGAF” from her album, Dua Lipa.  On top that, she won BreakTudo Artist on the Rise award in 2018 for her fantastic work in the short time she was active.
