Once his time there is up, his last date of the year is on July 19th in Spain.

Roger Hodgson Background

Charles Roger Pomfret Hodgson was born in 1950 in Portsmouth, Hampton, England. Hodgson's parents got divorced when he was 12, and his father left him an electric guitar as a parting gift. He took it with him to his boarding school near Surrey and quickly became the first boy to learn how to play the electric guitar in his school. His school recognized his talent and put him and his friend in the first ever band in the school.

He began composing his own music by 13, and by the time he was 19, he went to record his first singles "Duk Pond," and "Send Me No Flowers." He joined a few bands before he stumbled upon Supertramp, and together they released their debut self-titled album in 1970. Hodgson then composed a song "Dreamer," which took the group to the next level of fame and ended up beating out other tracks for the top of the charts.

Roger Hodgson’s Greatest Hits

Both with and without Supertramp, Hodgson has found success in his music. Some of his most famous songs are "In Jeopardy", "Lovers in the Wind", "London", "The More I Look" and "Open the Door".
