Strictly Come Dancing has been a popular daytime TV show since its first air on BBC in 2004. From then on, the dancers have become more skilled and the general setting of the show has improved. This same style of a dance show is seen across the world, from South Africa (which has its own version of the show with the same name), to the US, which follows a similar style along with a different name. The show has currently gone through 16 series and 235 episodes. There have also been related shows subsequent to Strictly Come Dancing, like Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two.
