The Specials Tickets & Tour Schedule

The Specials are a rare band among the bands of the UK. Their style and direction of music is considered to be a little bit of 2 Tone, ska, and punk rock. The Specials have experienced popularity throughout different decades, starting from the 70s. However, even after a few breaks and time away from the stage, their fans still adore them after all these years. For that, The Specials have selected several dates in 2019 for live concerts.

Starting on March 27th in Luxembourg, The Specials are set to perform in the Den Atelier area. If that doesn’t work for you, you can still catch the band in several other locations, including Dublin, Plymouth, Manchester, Cardiff, Margate, and London. After all of that, their last show for the year is in Groningen, Netherlands on June 22nd. Make sure to grab a ticket while they last!

The Specials Background

The Specials got their start in Coventry, England, and the band was formed in 1977. The Specials is definitely a band that has seen a lot of great members come and go, but their current lineup is of Lynval Golding, Gary Powell, Horace Panter, Drew Stansall, Steve Cradock, Tim Smart, Terry Hall, Pablo Mandleson, and Nikolaj Torp Larsen. The Specials are often referred to as Special AKA. The band released their debut single, “Gangsters,” in 1979, and blew the roof off of the charts. That song became one of the Top 10 Hits that summer. Shortly after, they release their EP, Too Much Too Young, which also received high praise and reached number one on the UK singles chart.

The Specials’ Greatest Hits

The Specials have many great songs under their belt. Some of their most amazing work is “A Message to You, Rudy”, “The Boiler”, “Free Nelson Mandela”, “A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You” and their album, More Specials.
