They travelled through England doing small gigs to build up their fan base and eventually had a breakthrough with their cover of a popular song. They then released their album, Everything Changes, and were met with success immediately.

Tenacious D is an American rock duo from Los Angeles. The pair brings a fresh new taste to rock music with their comedic lyrics and jazz elements. Tenacious D, also known as The D, is made up of Jack Black and Kyle Gass. The two originally met in Los Angeles in 1986, but didn’t become a band until 1994. Before their work together on music, Black and Gass made a three-episode HBO series, which was met with a good amount of success.
