      Mitski Miyawaki is an American singer-songwriter. Mitski self-released her first two albums, Lush (2012), and Retired from Sad, New Career in Business (2013), while studying at Purchase College's Conservatory of Music.

      After graduating, she released her third studio album, Bury Me at Makeout Creek (2014), through Double Double Whammy. It was followed by her critically acclaimed albums Puberty 2 (2016) and Be the Cowboy (2018), both released on Dead Oceans.

      After a three-year hiatus, Mitski returned with the single "Working for the Knife" in 2021.

      Jack the Lad Swing, commonly know as JLS, is an English Pop group, which consists of members Aston Merrygold, JB Gill, Marvin Humes & Oritsé Williams
       

      The band was originally formed by Oritsé Williams. They initially signed to Tracklacers production company New Track City and then went on to become runners-up of the fifth series of the ITV reality talent show The X Factor in 2008, coming second to Alexandra Burke. Following their appearance on The X Factor, JLS signed to Epic Records.

       

      Their band's first two singles "Everybody in Love" & "Beat Again" both went to number one on the UK Singles Chart.

       

      According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), JLS has been certified for 2.3 million albums and 2.8 million singles in the UK.

      The National is an American rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, formed in 1999.

       

      The band consists of Matt Berninger (vocals), Aaron Dessner (guitar, piano, keyboards), Bryce Dessner (guitar), Scott Devendorf (bass) and Bryan Devendorf (drums).

       

      Founded by Berninger, Aaron Dessner, and Scott and Bryan Devendorf, The National released their self-titled debut album, The National (2001), on Brassland Records, an independent record label founded by Dessner and his twin brother, Bryce Dessner. Bryce, who had assisted in recording the album, soon joined the band, participating as a full member in the recording of its follow-up, Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers (2003).

       

      Leaving behind their day jobs, the National signed with Beggars Banquet Records and released their third studio album, Alligator (2005), to widespread critical acclaim. The band's fourth and fifth studio albums, Boxer (2007) and High Violet (2010), increased their exposure significantly. In 2013, the band released its sixth studio album, Trouble Will Find Me, which was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. In 2017 the band released the album Sleep Well Beast, which won the Grammy award for Best Alternative Music Album at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards. Their eighth studio album, I Am Easy to Find, is scheduled for release on May 17, 2019.

       

      Four of the band's albums were included on NME's 2013 list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

      John William "Paul" Weller Jr is an English singer-songwriter & musician. Paul Weller achieved fame with the punk rock/new wave revival band The Jam.

       

      Weller had further success with the blue-eyed soul music of The Style Council (1983–1989), before establishing himself as a solo artist in 1991.

       

      The Daily Telegraph about Weller: "Apart from David Bowie, it's hard to think of any British solo artist who's had as varied, long-lasting and determinedly forward-looking a career."

      The BBC described Weller in 2007 as "one of the most revered music writers and performers of the past 30 years".
