Queen & Adam Lambert (sometimes referred to as Q+AL or QAL) is a collaboration between Brian May and Roger Taylor - the active members of the British band Queen and American singer Adam Lambert.

This is the first long-term collaboration of Queen since the Queen + Paul Rodgers project ended in 2009.

Joining May, Taylor and Lambert are long-time Queen touring keyboardist Spike Edney, bassist Neil Fairclough and percussionist Tyler Warren. Although there are currently no plans to release a studio album with this lineup, May and Taylor have stated that there is a possibility of the group recording original material.

      11 February 2020 (Tuesday) 19:30

Elton John is a man that needs no introduction. His work has surpassed the ranks as some of the most pivotal and beloved music of this time. Although he’s based in England, he’s recognized as a musical legend worldwide. He’s even received recognition from the Queen of England herself and had the honor of being knighted. It’s clear that Elton John has an army of fans ready to see him perform live, and they have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming year.

Elton John announced that he’s going to retire from touring, so decided to go on an extended final farewell tour. His dates for 2019 start on January 11th in Boise, ID, followed by concerts in Portland Fresno, Denver, Brooklyn, Columbia, Amsterdam, Cardiff, and Madrid. Following a break, he starts up again in 2020 on October 10th in Paris, France. This leg of his tour also has many dates set up, with the last date being on December 16th in London, England.

      Elton John Background

Sir Elton Hercules John was born with the name Reginald Kenneth Dwight, which is equally as regal and refreshing as his stage name. He was born in Pinner, Middlesex, England in 1947 during the chilly days of March. John was always one with music and grew up surrounding himself with it his whole childhood. He has achieved such mastery that he was able to play a piece on the piano that he’d only heard once with perfection. He started off as a pianist in a local pub, then ended up joining a band. His career took off from there, and the music world has never been the same since.

      Elton John’s Greatest Hits

Trying to list all of John’s hits is a little overwhelming. But some of his greatest tunes are “Sorry Seems To Be the Hardest Word”, “Candle in the Wind”, “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”, “Rocket Man”, “Tiny Dancer”, “Your Song”, and “This Train Don’t Stop There Anymore”.

      Pentatonix Tour Schedule

Pentatonix, or PTX for short, is a widely successful a cappella group from Arlington, Texas. The group is well known for their covers of popular songs in medley form, but has also released some original music content. Both types of their work have blown off the charts in several countries. An a cappella group like Pentatonix has everything they need to perform live anywhere, so fans love to see them in action on stage. They’re currently on their Christmas tour, but haven’t announced any dates for performances in 2019. Keeping yourself updated with their plans is the best way to pounce on those tickets when they come out.

      Pentatonix Background

Pentatonix is made up of five members, Matt Sallee, Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, and Kevin Olusola. Avi Kaplan used to be a member until he split with the group in 2017. Kirstin, Mitch, and Scott were actually schoolmates in their hometown of Arlington, Texas. They met Avi in college through mutual friends and later discovered Kevin on YouTube for his famous ‘cello boxing’ skills.

The group auditioned to perform at The Sing-Off and ended up getting selected. They went on to win the title for Season Three of that competition. The group was then signed with Madison Gate Records and released their first album in 2012. Today, Pentatonix continues to make covers of contemporary music, but also focus on creating songs with reggae, hip-hop, dubstep, and pop influences.

      Pentatonix’s Greatest Hits

Even if you didn’t include the covers of songs that Pentatonix successfully created, just their original music alone has garnered lots of praise and awards. Their song, “Love Again,” was nominated for a Streamy Award. On top of that, they won the YouTube Music Award’s Artist of the Year award in 2015. Some of their most memorable covers are “Daft Punk,” “Radioactive,” and “Cheerleader.”
